We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Provide Minor Enhancement to 'bjobs -env jobid' Command to search and return variables server side
The 'bjobs -env jobid' command is very useful, but in our environment, the job environment can be very large. We plan to use this command as a part of our ESUB modify controls and it could be called quite frequently. Therefore, it will generate ...
We wold like to have the ability to free up a job slot when a lsfadmin suspends a job due to some valid reasons. In our case, we are trying to run a script to check if the user has reached the quota on their current run directory, and if they are ...
Because "Preemption scheduling" is actually for the jobs in different queues.LSF today has no such feature or concept of in-queue preemption. the new feature maybe work like this:define a INQUEUE_PREEMPT=[[userA,80%] [userB,20%]] ...For example, ...
Hello,we want to enable users running podman to perform management of images downloaded by the podman. The management includes clean-up of images based on some policy like LRU or any other that user decides. I think bimages is supported for docker...
The current bqueues -o options are useful, and it would be helpful to add the resource limits (e.g., memlimit, cpulimit, etc.) as they currently require 'bqueues -l |grep -A1 LIMIT' to collect the information.
LSF doesn't allow multiple LOAN policies on the same hosts
LSF has limitation in SLA LOAN_POLICIES configuration by having only one loan duration time available. It would be great, if SLA LOAN_POLICIES can support option to LOAN for different time to different queues. For example:LOAN_POLICIES = QUEUES[ge...
GPU report to show GPU usage and GPU memory usaage
We use the resource usage reporting of LSF and would like to have a GPU report that is similar to the CPU accounting. Right now, GPU accounting is quite simple. For example, we would like to have something like GPU memory usage, charge back, faile...
LSF should support mapping resources to host group(s)
We need to map 200 dynamic gpu resources to all 120 gpu nodes due to gpu auto config is not supported in RHEL6. In the current latest LSF 10.1.0.9, we have to add 120 host names to each of 200 resources. This makes lsf.cluster file very messy. And...
