My votes: Db2 Query Monitor for z/OS

Action V (Display SQL text) should show SQL in ISPF VIEW session

Presenting the SQL text directly in ISPF VIEW/EDIT will give the user direct access to all the brilliant commands in ISPF VIEW/EDIT including EDIT macros and CUT/PASTE. This will be much faster than first EXPORT and then enter ISPF VIEW/EDIT on th...

List port being used by SQL statement/user-ID

Currently, it is difficult to find the port number that a SQL statement or user-ID is using. Sure we can get from SMF or some other way but that is cumbersome and takes time for batch processing of the data. If CQM could show the data we could see...

Support for OCSP or CRL

Our auditors require that every SSL connection uses OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) or CRL (Certificate Revocation List). As far as I know, this is not yet supported for Db2 Query Monitor. I would ask to consider making this posssible.

Alerts for DelayProblem, SqlElapsedTimeProblem, and SqlError at the object level

We would like to see if it would be possible to get alerts at the object level for the event types DelayProblem, SqlElapsedTimeProblem, and SqlError. Right now, this is possible to do for getpage activity which is very helpful. A workaround we wou...

Support and document AT-TLS for all ports

The IBM documentation to establish AT-TLS protected connections for CQM does not cover all connections/ports. It only documents part of it. There is only an 'unofficial' blog post how one can achieve it but not in the IBM documentation. Hence it s...

Build SQL Statement with host variables

Let’s review this scenario. You just implemented a new COBOL program into production. But some users are not getting the data they expected. You finally realize an SQL statement you are running is not returning any rows. You’re sure the statement ...

CQM - Enhancing Granularity in SQL Code Monitoring and Detail Collection

Currently, there is a limitation in the MAX_SQLCODE_DETAIL parameter, as it does not allow exemption of a single negative SQL code. This becomes evident in the CQM$SQCM panel, where although a significant number of entries for a specific SQLCODE, ...

QM allow filter for SQL that changed data in CAE webfilter (and ISPF)

I would like the Query Monitor web-interface to have a filter or control that allows me to filter on SQL that actually changed data. For example, I might zoom into an object and see lots of SQL operated on it. But all I want to see are the SQL tha...

Format the SQL statement under TSO/ISPF

Db2 Query Monitor has 2 interfaces, TSO/ISPF and Consolidation and Analysis Engine(CAE). Under the CAE, also known as the Web Client, the SQL statement being displayed is formatted. However, this is not the case for TSO. Here’s an example: DECLARE...

Access to SQL Performance Analyzer from CAE (Web Client)

If you use Db2 Query Monitor on TSO/ISPF and your company owns Db2 SQL Performance Analyzer(SQL PA), you can call SQL PA to “explain” the access path for the query. And, optionally, perform what-if analysis. Let’s have the same functionality for t...
