Affinity support for windows compute servers

We have a mixed Linux/Windows cluster. Unfortunately the affinity string in the resource requirement is not supported on Windows. This leads to several problems: 1. jobs with affinity settings will not be dispatched to windows nodes 2. less perfor...

Add possibility to assign cores from the same CCX in AMD CPUs to make use of the same L3 cache.

With a specific 2-core workload we noticed significant performance improvements of about 50% in shorter runtime when both cores reside on the same L3 cache group (CCX) of an AMD EPYC CPU.Therefore it would be very beneficial to be able to have LSF...

Create a way to prevent a job with an SLA from using another SLA's hosts/slots/memory if the other SLA is under-committed

LSF hosts come and go, and when you create an allocation that uses exact numbers, there are times when a Pool can be over and under committed. In the case of an under-committed pool today, consumers from other pools can leverage free slots from th...

Allow Session Scheduler to support the queue level Job Starter when the Session Spreads to Multiple Hosts

In testing of Session Scheduler, it works perfectly, on secondary hosts, it does not seem to respect our job starter which will limit our ability to deploy Session Scheduler more broadly. Closing this gap is important.

bjobs should show LIMITs ( MEMLIMIT / RUNLIMIT ) from queues or applications, please improve it.

Currently LIMITs settings ( MEMLIMIT / RUNLIMIT ) from queues or applications did NOT show in "bjobs -l" output, only job-level setting did. But the LIMITs are still effective in job environment, so it may deliver wrong information to user until j...

Use all applicable NUMA Memory information on a machine to determine available Memory resources before dispatching a job to a machine

We were noticing that jobs were being terminated by LSF with the message: TERM_MEMLIMIT: job killed after reaching LSF memory usage limit.Exited with exit code 137. Yet, this was happening before the job had even consumed the amount of memory rese...

Improve existing ZOMBI handling with regards to both SBD and MBD process flows

It will reduce the persistence of ZOMBI jobs in LSF to a shorter time period. Here are the two areas that need improvement. 1) Currently, even though the SBD daemons may be running on a host, a job will remain in ZOMBI status until the SBD is rest...

Add field to bhosts -o

In the latest LSF version, bhosts -o does not have a field to show Reserved resources value. Could you please add a field for memory reserved column in bhosts -o? We can check Reserved Memory in bhosts -l, but it would be helpful if we coul...
