We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
currently LSF uses kerberos API "krb5_cc_retrieve_cred" to retrieve user TGT, details can be found:http://web.mit.edu/kerberos/krb5-latest/doc/appdev/refs/api/krb5_cc_retrieve_cred.htmlthis API doesn't work for TGT created by constrained delegatio...
Allow the user to save multiple cluster dashboard layouts by name
Right now, the Cluster Dashboard is very monolithic, you every time you go there, you have to set it up the way you like it. Yes, you can save the dashboard, but it would be nice to have multiple saved dashboards so that you can quickly obtain th...
Allow Tagging of LSF Clusters and Filtering from Dashboard and Managmenet pages
Currently we have a lot of clusters for various functions and purposes. It would be nice to be able to tag clusters by function, production/test/dev, etc and then be able to filter the various pages by tagname. It would help cut down on clutter ...
Fairshare dynamic priority to use job count instead of job slots
The fairshare formula uses job_slots with RUN_JOB_FACTOR. Looking to have a formula that uses a job_count that represents only the number of jobs (excluding the slots or tasks requested per job).
A scenario for this is when a queue is set up t...
Support or remove user defined dynamic resources from lsb.hosts file
Elim resources are used to present unique resources and values to the scheduler. Dynamic resources are not supported in the LSF simulator and are converted to static resources in the lsf.cluster file and in the lsf.shared file. However these resou...
Currently in RTM, there two design gaps in the RunLimit features. They are:1) No way to exclude queues such as 'short'2) Emails are sent one at a time, which in our case results in 77k emails sent randomly. It would be better to 'consolidate' Emai...
When a Benchmark job fails It would be nice to see the bsub used to submit the job
We can manually construct the actual bsub, but it would be nice to be able to cut and paste it when editing the Benchmark job so we can test that it actually will work. In one case we were getting "Queue Permission Errors" and it having that bsub...
FairShare User/Project internal data size limitation
As per the support case - we are hitting the limitation on how many users/projects we can have defined in our most complex cluster in ARM. This is causing us to have to be very careful with any adjustments / updates and stop using automation and m...
