encode Active report lists and xtabs in JSON, not XML

Add a recycle bin for administrators

Users delete items by mistake and it would be nice to have a way to retrieve those items easily. It could empty on a rolling cycle to reduce size

DB object version control

Idea of versioning objects: UDFs, views, mqts and procedures. When we are replacing mentioned above objects with new statements we have to save old statements in notepad (or sth similar) in case if we want to return to previous version.

Sort members of Groups and Roles

I would like to be able to sort members within Groups and Roles. It is not easy to identify who is in a group or role, when names are in the order entered and not alphabetical.

SELECT * FROM FINAL TABLE (MERGE ...)

SELECT * FROM FINAL TABLE (MERGE ...) - It would be very usefull to select records that were just merged. The same way like with DELETE / UPDATE and INSTERT: SELECT * FROM FINAL TABLE (DELETE / UPDATE / INSERT)

Sybase ASE connectivity via JDBC

Sybase ASE connectivity with Cognos 10.2.1 is through compatible query mode which is a 32bit connection. We would like to know IBM's plan to support JDBC connectivity with Sybase ASE.

Security on Log Reports

One is unable to apply security on the Log Reports. Although a user may be restricted and have specific have rights to certain entities, the same user can open a Data Load Log Report for all entities and therefore gain access to privileged data.
