We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas

Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
The ability to have latency affect IDAA routing decisions
The ability to take into account latency for IDAA incremental update tables should be taken into account when the DB2 z/OS optimizer determines whether or not to route a query to IDAA. The ability should also be provided to turn this heuristic on/...
Enlarge the length of MESSAGE parameter in the ACCEL stored procedures over 64kb
The length of parameter MESSAGE is 64kb.
In some cases, 64kb is not enough and the message is truncated.
It occurs for example when you load 100 tables in one calling(100 is the maximum supported tables), we get truncated MESSAGE.
Version tolerance on the IDAA stored procedures & NPS Code
We find the lack of version tolerance on the IDAA stored procedures (especially on SYSPROC.ACCEL_UPDATE_SOFTWARE) and as well as on the NPS code extremely difficult during migration. We would like to see that fixed as soon as possible. 1) We shoul...

Accelerator only tables have poor inserts performance . ~ 7 pr second. We need to be able to insert very much faster to speed up the entire ETL flow, at the momemt the AOT is a buttleneck rather than an analytics improvement.
IDAA Sailfish v7 - Improvements on the query optimization engine
The customer is testing a set of the 20 key longest queries. Some of them are performing worst than IDAA v5. After the analysis of a performance engineer, there is an understanding that if early aggregation is improved, the queries times can reduc...
we need to see information from netezza server such as distribution of data at dataslice level. Drill down to list of skewed tables on a skewed data slice. The information in the netezza performance portal. We also need the ability to see activity...
