Field limits to apply for the Add New screen

Currently when in the Add New screen the field limits are not honoured, but in the edit screen they are. It would be good to have the Add New the same .e.g. 75 character text limits are honoured as per the edit screen.

Include System Fields:Description on My Assignments dashboard (or make it configurable)

We use the System Fields:Name field as an ID and System Fields:Description field as a Short Name ( I think this is fairly common). Therefore, on the My Assignments dashboard we need to see the Description field.
