update expiration path mechanism in order to provide continuous productivity

Issue Description

Customer Setup: The customer uses MS Azure Active Directory (AD) to log in to CP4D SaaS Service (FRA, Europe) via Single Sign-On (SSO). SSO is enabled using the AppId Service, which links SAML response information from AD to IBM Cloud IAM. The customer has configured AD groups and roles in both AD and IAM.

Expiration Parameter: The IAM group has a dynamic rule with a maximum expiration setting of 24 hours. If the customer does not log in within this period, they are dropped from the IAM group.

Impact: Dropping the customer from the group affects notifications on assigned tasks, leading to inefficiency in service usage. The customer is unaware of tasks they need to work on, which severely impacts their productivity.

Objective

Develop a long-term solution to extend the implementation of expiration parameter for dynamic rules, ensuring users remain in IAM groups if they are not removed from the AD group and add user to IAM access groups, if they are added in AD to improve notification delivery and workflow handling.

Note

Based on case CS4270513, a short-term workaround involves using a hidden API to update the "expiration" parameter field, extending the expiration period to 2 weeks (336 hours). This temporary fix ensures the customer can log in at least once every two weeks. Temporary fix was deployed to EON account.
