API Keys with restricted access permissions

We want to enable users to enact only certain functionalities, such as triggering a job run. Currently, the way we do that is to give them access to a username and zenApiKey as credentials to run the job through the api. However, tech-savvy users would be able to maliciously use this username and zenApiKey to do anything that the user has access to, not just run the job.


The idea came from reference to other software which has permission-level details on their generated personal access tokens for linking to other software. (with other functionality such as ability to generate more than 1 key, and ability to set expiry dates)
