RELATED IDEAS

Shareholdings and investments in external companies, restrict to current period

Our users add values in Shareholdings and Investments for external companies via a form. In the Shareholdings register the users can add other dates than from current period. But in the form it will be saved at current period. See attached document.
When we run Group>Reconcile>Investment it can show differences because of this.
It seems to be a mistake by IBM, since the shareholding and investments for external companies partly works in the same way as for subsidiaries.
1. It is not possible to add a future date in a period that is not created yet.
2. The register does not show all external shares for the mother, only the shares for current year.
