Password requirements

The IT security policy in many organizations have detailed requirements regarding password complexity and how this is handled. The complexity of passwords set up in Controller is not enough. Except what's already possible to limit regarding pw in Controller there's a need to force passwords to:

  • must be different than the 5 last passwords

  • cannot be changed more than once every 24h

  • must contain at least 3 of the following items:

    • Lowercase character

    • Uppercase character

    • Number

    • Special character

    Also, there's a request to lock down the account for 10 minutes after 5 invalid logon attempts.
