Creating a Level Filter within the reports so that you can say all Level 1s need to match & all Level 2s need to match etc.

Here below a proposal from Global Control to improve the application Cognos Controller. Can you please check with IBM if it is possible to include the functionality here below in the next version of Cognos Controller.

Proposal:
- At the moment all reports re intercompany balances are at the same level. So you can run them one by one.
- Proposal from the users is to create a Level Filter within the reports so that you can say all Level 1s need to match & all Level 2s need to match etc.

So we have active reports for instance the B/S accounts, e.g.
- journal no 1: 145009-221009: Long term rec & pay – IC financial
- journal no 2: 175009-275009: Short term rec & pay – IC WC

Next we have non-active reports
- e.g. journal no 800 which group all individual active reports in one report.

Request is to integrate both reports so that you can ask or the individual reports (journal no 1, 2…) or the report grouping several individual reports (e.g. report 800 which would show in the report the individual reports re journal no 1, 2…).
