IF function - Account mappings Controller Web

Cognos Classic includes a feature that maps an account code from an imported to a TB code based on whether it is a Dr or Cr. This is executed through an IF function which directs the balances to the correct Cognos code based on the imported value. Controller Web does not currently have this function. This limits the flexibility of where a balance can be mapped. This is particularly relevant to intercompany balances which fluctuate between debtors and creditors periodically. The inclusion of the IF function in Controller Web mapping would lead to greater accuracy of financial statement figures.

    We have added this to roadmap with a view to implement it in a release planned for September. Our initial thoughts are to add this feature in the lookup table itself.
