advanced filters in data modules not available

In order for data modules to be a suitable replacement for Framework Manager packages, we will require the ability to add advanced filters to tables objects within data modules. Currently, all that can be done is to pick from a list of values.

I believe most of the code to do this is already there. All we need is a link within the table properties to create an advanced filter.

As far as I'm concerned, this should have been there right from the start and was probably forgotten by developers.

The benefit of additional filters would provide our client with more flexibility to not have to go into each data set and constantly update the date range. By being more dynamic, our client could then use the datasets more in the story feature on a narrower time frame (ex. Weekly or previous month). Our client likes the story feature as visual management of KPIs but the need to update the individual datasets per department is cumbersome.
