I guess there lots of other important ideas and features. However we do have customer demanding in particular on this for their reports. Are you able to give any estimation when this and/or other former functionalities (see https://ibm-data-and-ai.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/CA-I-2976) are availabe for 11.1 viz?

Could you mention when we can expect this feature and which Cognos version it will be available?
We did not purposely remove master-detail support. The new 11.1 visualization engine doesn't have all the functionalities traditional charting engine has currently. These features all need to be re-implemented and prioritized. We have been implementing many important features into the 11.1 visualization engine such as drill through, drill up/down, etc.
Master-detail is on our list to implement for the second half of this year.
Master detail relationships has been removed from the 11.1 visualisation... this is deemed as a step backwards by users as such a feature is very popular and useful for report designer, please consider re-adding it to future releases asap.
