This is indeed essential. With the ability to adapt certain colours, we face severe limits because others are fixed.
For those that need a temporary solution:
You can edit the following file as an admin:
analytics\temp\themes\global\[theme name]\css\palette.css
and this will allow you to edit a bit more. However, at any change of the theme (and maybe also at reboots, not yet verified) you will need to re-apply this. A scheduled copy paste could potentially overcome this.
It is wise of IBM to in the future put the base css file they use to build up this file, inside the theme template. This way there is much more control with limited changes.
