IBM Equal for performing AVT 1 on Congos Reports

DAP, which is the IBM recommended tool for performing AVT1 is only supported on the Chrome browser. As Chrome is not a recommended browser for using accessible reports in Cognos, DAP cannot be used to perform AVT1. Firefox ESR is what is recommended by Cognos. Can we get confirmation if the new IBM Equal Accessibility Checker tool can be used to perform AVT 1 on cognos reports? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/accessibility-checker/

    Note what we are looking for is

    1) Confirmation of current Cognos recommendation for tool to support AVT1 testing for content produced in Cognos (has been some back and forth since an in person discussion on whether this is DAP or AXE)

    2) Formal documentation to support this answer

    3) If the answer to 1) is not the newly open sourced IBM toolset consideration of same on the Cognos roadmap and communication of the results of that consideration wrt potential timing
