Control Over Fully Interactive Toolbar

Being able to control what users within a role see allows you to setup one Dashboard for your entire population of users(no matter what level of expertise they have at running and understanding a report/data.

Fully Interactive (FI) toolbar gives a lot of options/control over how the data is reported. For some users that gives them the flexibility they need to do their job; other users that do not understand the data, or the options provided by FI, it becomes a very confusing process.

Cognos has roles to help deal with the level of expertise their user community has. Please give us the same level of control for FI in a role as you currently have for printing formats (e.g. Removing a feature for a role, removes the Export to PDF option in the application bar from Analysis users ...).

    Dev is currently working on the option to disable onDemand toolbar per role and at the report level. This is planned to be released in the near future.
