Custom Control (Authorized Drill Through)

When creating custom controls like visualizations or data tables it is not possible to perform an out-of-the-box drill-through (authored drill through). Yes, you can use URL parameters to create a psuedo drill-through. However, this is very poor performing and does not plug into the frameset manager. Also, if there are multiple data source connections for the data source, the user will be prompted to choose a connection with each drill.

    Due to technical challenges, this feature will not be part of 2021 product release. Development will continue look for viable solution to solve the issue.
