Support Microsoft Edge Chromium for Cognos Analytics

Our Company has rolled out Edge Chromium has the default browser but this browser is not yet supported.

Although it worked fine for v11.1.4, it gives issues in v11.1.7 when creating a new report or editing an existing report (cannot reasd property 'cssRules' of null)

    Comment from 03 Sep 06:09: "In fact Chrome has the same error. "

    Did you test the IF002? Abstract of the IF: "This interim fix resolves an issue in CA 11.1.7 where in Chrome 85 report execution fails on attempting to retrieve a css stylesheet"

    @Sami

    The issue we are facing is also on google chrome browser as well

    When I create new -> Report. We face this issue.

    You can cross verify by checking this on IBM Blue demos as well. Try to create new report with google chrome browser.

    It's working with Mozilla Firefox

    I'm on 11.1.5 and planning to upgrade to 11.1.7 (Company browser is Edge). What are the specifics issues on 11.1.7 ? Do I need to suspend the upgrade until there is a fix ?

    This idea is a candidate for an upcoming generally available release. Please note that statements regarding its plans, directions, and intent are subject to change or withdrawal without notice at IBM's sole discretion. As this version of Edge is based on the Chromium platform, the support for various studios will fall inline with others based on this platform such as Google Chrome.

    Same problem with me. Edge Chromium worked fine for 11.1.5 but in 11.1.7 same error. In fact Chrome has the same error. Oh no. Problems with each Cognos upgrade.

    This is an extended issue with Cognos Analytics. Some features as custom viz only work on chromium edge and other features only work on IE (event studio) which is being soon deprecated.
