Lets Get Rid of the Big White Blinking Page in Reporting!

User is viewing a Cognos report, and executes a drill through or refresh...Page goes white, animated gif starts spinning forever, while you're looking at a white page...drill through report applications are elegant, except for this behavior! This is the biggest ding against us from competitors, how the usability experience impacts the user...Tableau may spin the same number of spins, but when you drill through or refresh the tableau page, the report image still appears in the background while the spinner spins...only when the report is ready to refresh, does it 'transition' into the display, from the old report, to the new report view. I wish Cognos would work this way... :(
