Add additional options to the Share functionality

We often share reports with users via the share functionality within the portal (right-click>Share>Link). This creates a url which can then be emailed (or embedded in other reports and web pages etc). We often need to further edit the url to provide the functionality we need.


I would propose that the Share functionality is enhanced to include advanced options for the following (the url supports other options and this is just a selection of what could be provided). Ideally, all url modifications should be made available via the Share functionality


Run type - Run, View or Edit

Output type - HTML, PDF, Excel

Prompts - Add required prompts to the url

Interface - Hide or show any menu bars


Some of this can be achieved if share is accessed once the report has been run (Run type, output type and prompt) but this can be a pain for reports which take a long time to run and other url modifications still need to be made manually.


This would improve the sharing of links via email but would be of great benefit to users who use third party or in-house webpages to launch cognos reports.
