Hide show generated sql

For security reason i would be able to hide to basic users the possibility to show generated sql and so view the internal tables , connection, schema etc.

Hi, we are currently working on some security updates that may touch on this use case - can you provide any comment on whether you need to hide this in Reporting, Dashboarding, or both? Thanks!

Agreed, we need to be given the option to hide this feature. At minimum we need role based permissions for this to be displayed. In an externally facing environment, our users should not see our fully qualified naming convention, which includes server level details. This is not appropriate for an Enterprise product. Security needs to be considered upfront during Cognos Product development, not as an afterthought. To be clear, this security issue will cause your customers to cross-shop for more secure options.
