When a visualization is copied from one dashboard to another a new datalink will be added

Case number

TS007058586

It is single server installation of CA 11.1.7 on Wins 2016 server.

Issue: When a visualization is copied from one dashboard to another a new datalink will be added even though the data source (package) is the same.

Step-by-step:
1. Create a new dashboard and link to data-source (HRBI package)
2. Open a previously created dashboard with at least one chart
3. Copy Asset from previously created dashboard and paste to the new dashboard just created in step 1

As we can see, a new data-source link has been created pointing to the data-source used by the previously created dashboard.

Issue:
If the data source for the two dashboards are the same it should not duplicate the data source.

Please see the attached doc with the screen captures for the details.

The ticket owner is Prithi.Banipal@inspection.gc.ca. Please contact him for more information if you need.

Thanks,
Winnie Zhang
