Add Support for SLES 15.x

I received a follow up response from our Product Management team. They confirmed the following:

Hi Mark, yes, we currently don't support SLES 15.x. It will be great if you can ask the client to log an IDEA on this so we can track this request for future considerations. Thanks!

Based on this, I'd strongly recommend that an IDEA be logged against Cognos Analytics to have SLES 15.x added as a conformance point for future consideration. IDEAs can be logged via https://ibm-data-and-ai.ideas.ibm.com/. Please forward the link to the IDEA itself once it has been submitted such that John and I can also vote for its consideration.

UPDATE:

Ford, is pushing hard to move off of OSs going out of support and is attempting to drop support in our datacenters for SLES 12 and go directly to SLES 15. All applications are being asked upgrade to the new OS ASAP. As a maintainer of the Cognos installation for reporting on Tivoli & ICAM data I need to know definatively from ITM whether Cognos will run without issue on SLES 15. Staying on SLES 12 will cost Ford thousands of dollars in additional support fees and may cause unnecessary down time.

    Need tivoli itm6 and cognos to run on sles 15.1
