Ability to add Legacy tools directly under New

Currently, Query Studio is under other applications, after selecting New, within the portal. An extension should be available to modify the "New" selections so that the legacy tools don't need to have the extra click to go through "other applications". Query Studio is one of the tools we use the most. It should be easier to access.

Hmm, I can appreciate that is the goal but it certainly doesn't seem like a viable migration option to go to RS or Dashboards at the current time. For one, I'm not seeing any migration option from QS to a dashboard. The second issue with dashboards as an option is their inabilty to handle certain date prompts created in FM. I would be in favor of going to "Reporting", which is essentially Report Studio, but it has a multitude of problems. There is way too many advanced tool options in RS, that are uncontrollable. For example, users can create multiple list reports in one report. No matter how perfectly the underlying database is tuned, there are just too many options for the users to create something unusable and inefficient. QS provides a couple click option to get to a canvas where they can drag and drop for quick ad-hoc report or spend some time and build a report to save and schedule. The ad-hoc mission is harder in the RS tool. QS is a tool for the masses. RS is a developer's tool and until there's a lot more control around the features, it would make sense to have QS readily avaiilable at the highest level.

Thank you for submitting this idea. Currently this is not something we plan to implment, as we are encouraging users of Query Studio and Analysis Studio to migrate to new tools like Reporting and Dashboards.
