Ability to rerun failed reports/jobs/agents in batch, from IBM Cognos Administration -> Past Activities screen

Why is it useful?

In a busy production cognos analytics environments, when an unplanned outage occur, it's common to see multiple report/agent/job failures. Administrators need to go to "view run history", and rerun failed requests. It is very time consuming to manually go into each failed request and rerun. Ability to rerun list of failed reports with one click would greatly save time in recovering production systems.

Who would benefit from it?

This feature mainly benefits Administrators to recover failed report requests in busy production systems and help to meet customer SLAs on report delivery.

How should it work?

Check box on entries under IBM Cognos Administration -> Past Activities screen, and option at the top of the screen to rerun list of failed reports with one click. Similar to Cancel/suspend feature to manage list of Upcoming requests under IBM Cognos administration -> Upcoming Activities.
