RELATED IDEAS

Increasing report description field to handle more than 1024 characters.

In 11.1.7 version of reports, users where able to add comments in description for any amount length or atleast greater than > 1024 characters, the max we had currently is 2997 characters,

But in 11.2.4 release a new parameter was added to cmmetadata.xml file maxlength for report description to restrict it to <1024 character, so can we remove this restrictions since when there is no version control, sometimes users uses report's description properties as workaround to track all historical changes which were made to report.
