Provide options for direct css manipulation in customisations

Since upgrading from V11.1.7 to V11.2.4 we have encountered an issue where icons rendered in an existing customisation (sidebar menu) are now appearing much smaller than they were prior to the upgrade. Our investigation suggests that this can be overcome by modifications to the relevant .css mix-in however there is no obvious way to achieve this through the standard customisation process.

We do note the standard process has provision to include a .css file as an "extra" option however in this case we wish to remove an existing core css item or at lease stop it being applied. preference would be to allow direct css manipulation via the customisation JSON file.

Please note we have received requests from some uses indicating that the post upgrade situation if problematic for those with vision limitations.
