Searchable tree prompt

It is a common pain point to navigate hierarchies in order to select elements for reporting. The tree prompt is the only prompt object that properly displays hierarchical information. However, it lacks a search feature leading to excessive time spent especially when multiple elements need to be selected. Adding a searchable tree prompt that support dimensional data such as TM1/Planning Analytics would be a key differentiator for Cognos Analytics.

    This is a very useful feature that our UX team already has the design to improve the filter UI for dashboard which can also be used for Reporting studio

    I second this. It would be highly useful to be able to use a searchable tree prompt built into cognos to be able to easily navigate hierarchical data
