HTML Item for Dashboard

We are an Australian based software company (Pronto Software) which bundles with Cognos Analytics. We are rolling out new Dashboards based on Cognos Analytics and retiring older versions built using Cognos 10. We have a pain point however - we are unable to add a simple Help link to the new Dashboards which will take the user to the relevant Help page. This is because we do not publicly host our Help (and have no plans to do so due to concerns over our IP). Because we use a relative URL to link to our Help, not an absolute URL, the current solutions offered in the dashboard are useless. What we need is the equivalent to the HTML Item found in Cognos Reporting/Report Studio. This perfectly met our requirements as it allows for both relative and absolute URLs. Without it being available in Cognos Dashboards we have found ourselves hunting for workarounds for something as simple as a Help link. I am not the only user to have run into this issue; see (https://community.ibm.com/community/user/businessanalytics/discussion/hyperlink-data-items-in-dashboard). While it appears there are other workarounds available these do not apply to us due to our material not being publicly hosted.
