Add nested menu items for the actions menu

At the moment any menu item added to com.ibm.bi.contentApps.listViewMenu will appear as an additional row. There is a finite amount of space. I'd like to have an option to add nested menu items where clicking the row would open additional menu items or even additional flyout menus. This should help in two different ways.

  1.  Organization
As I mentioned, every new extension added is simply another row. In my own sandbox environment I now have 22 items, which takes almost all of the vertical space on my laptop.
  2. Speed
When the menu is opened all of the extensions run their isItemVisible functions. I have a few that are designed to only be visible in specific folders, each request may take up half a second, which adds up since the operations appear to be done sequentially. If these extensions were hidden inside a flyout menu, the initial load time could be significantly faster.

While item two is a high priority issue to my current client, item one is the most concerning to me. If there are more requests to add actions I'll have to figure out how to write my own flyout menu. Or maybe make a secondary menu as a modal popup.
