Undo functionality with action history

In IBM Cognos Analytics, the current undo functionality is limited to a single-step reversal, which can be inefficient and error-prone during editing. I propose an enhancement inspired by Microsoft Excel’s undo feature, where users can view a chronological list of recent actions and selectively undo multiple steps at once.
This could be implemented as a dropdown or side panel showing actions such as "Added visualization", "Changed filter", or "Modified calculation", with the ability to undo several steps in one go. Optionally, a redo panel could be included with similar functionality.

This improvement would significantly enhance productivity and user experience, reduce frustration from repetitive undoing, and align Cognos with modern UX standards found in other productivity tools.
