Smart Split Data Modeling

When selecting to split a date item, allow for the ability to select a start of year date (e.g. calendar 1/2/2025 vs other (e.g. fiscal year 10/1/2024). In addition, add options to allow for selecting quarter. Quarter would be generated as a number (1), text (Q01), or fully qualified by year (YYYY-QQQ). Do the same for the month. Column for month number (12), month name (12-Dec), or fully qualified by year, qtr or year (YYYY-QQQ-MMmmm or YYYY-MMmmm). This allows for various ways to support navigation paths or simply give users the option to report by the dates relative to the calendar they use. This functionality is distinct from the different custom calendar filters. In my screen shot I am showing how the same date would split with different year start dates and the columns that might be generated based on the modeler's selections. When creating the concatenated items, be sure to zerofill the item (e.g. 1-Jan is 01-Jan). All items created have the proper date properties including the 'Represents' choices.
