Enhance the capability to connect to Azure KeyVault and get private keys for snowflake authentication

This request is from Blue Yonder Pvt Ltd. (Formally JDA SOFTWARE GROUP_INC)

As Snowflake is officially deprecating username and password authentication (https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/security-mfa-rollout#deprecation-timeline) , we have explored alternative authentication methods. We found that private key authentication is a viable option for authenticating with Snowflake data sources. Our trials using this method have been successful.

However, due to the current capabilities of Cognos, the private key file must be stored on the same machine where Cognos is installed, with its path referenced in the JDBC URL. This approach presents a security risk.

To mitigate this risk, we propose storing the private key in Azure Key Vault. The JDBC URL will then reference the key stored in the Key Vault, allowing Cognos to securely access the key at runtime.

This enhancement will improve security by eliminating the need to directly store private keys on local machines, thus aligning with best practices for key management.

We are looking for this enhancement within Cognos Analytics 11.2.4 FPX, as it retains the Cognos Workspace feature, which is deprecated in Cognos 12.X. If IBM plans to support Workspace dashboards in version 12, integrating the Azure Key Vault reference would be greatly beneficial.

Thank you for considering this enhancement, which aims to bolster security while facilitating data source connections efficiently.
