Option to Disable Insight from Cognos Assistant

When the Cognos Assistant is queried, it returns both analytical outputs (such as charts and visualizations) as well as accompanying insights. However, since the Cognos Assistant does not leverage an LLM-based approach, these insights are generated using predefined templates rather than contextual understanding.

As a result, the insights produced are often generic and, in many cases, may be misleading or not fully aligned with the underlying data. This can create confusion for end users and may lead to incorrect interpretations.

To mitigate this risk and enhance the overall user experience, it is recommended to introduce an option that allows users to hide or disable the automatically generated insights. This would enable customers to continue benefiting from the accurate and valuable visual analytics (charts and dashboards) while avoiding potential misinterpretation caused by templated insights.

Such a feature would provide greater flexibility and control to users, ensuring that they can rely on the platform with increased confidence and clarity.
