Update referenced IDs of "Favorites" and "Recently Used Items" during content store import - CUG2026

When importing a content store export into Cognos in the administration console, there are two options: keep existing IDs during import or assign new IDs during import. In some cases, new IDs during import has to be chosen to prevent the system from overwriting already existing IDs in the target content store.

This option unfortunately breaks the links between the recently used items and the favorites of users. Thos items are referenced by their Id in the content store and due to the assignment of new IDs for the objects, all elements from the recent and favorite list are broken and have to be re-assigned by every single user manually.

Please chang ethe import process for the option "Assign the IDs during import" in such a manner that the reference between recently used items and favorites is updated during/post import.
