Technote Portal to reduce the number of times to authenticate in a day, week or month.

The idea that IBM Technotes need to be controlled is a sound one, but the Authentication is all over the map.  Sometimes requiring 5 logons for one Technote.  If access to the Support pages were authenticated at a higher level in the alias, one logon would suffice for multiple pages.  The sometimes 1 to 2 minutes needed to authenticate adds up over the day to a not insignificant amount of time and frustration depending on how a search goes.  There is no public information in a Technote that needs 5 (yes it does happen) pages of authentication.
