Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Product is "Planning analytics on cloud", not "Cognos analytics on cloud":
We are currently working in the IBM Planning analytics cloud at our customers and trying to implement our standard solution “Apollo”. As we have our own front-end (MOSAIK), we need to run a separate windows server with an extra application server on it. This server needs to authenticate on TM1 via an XMLHttpRequest. As we want to use Security Mode 5 (CAM-Security), we need to send this request to the bi authentication server. Now the request does not work because of the “same-origin-policy”, which should prevent cross-site-scripting.
If it were possible to send this request to the server, our front-end application would be usable with sec mode 5, so using PAX/PAW and MOSAIK parallel.
There is a huge chance to increase PA implementations ON CLOUD with this front-end, because it solves many problems our customers currently have.
