Ability to monitor Cognos Product roles vs. License Roles on Cognos

We use Cognos BI across our organization for reporting purposes; we use Cognos to deliver solutions to our clients;

We have long time challenged with understanding how the Cognos product roles (Eg. System Admin, Authors, Consumer etc) mapped to Cognos Licese Roles (Analytic Adminstrator, Analytic Explorer and others);

We need IBM to provide/ publish the mapping between the Cognos Default roles vs. Cognos License Roles; also you should provide some tools which we can use to understand the user roles deployed along with the user details to monitor the product as and when needed;

I believe your partners Motio and others does offer some of this functionality but we are not sure how are IBM is bind with those tools
