Enhance Cognos BI DQM properties for Amazon Redshift Database Processing

Cognos BI XQE properties for Amazon RedShift currently does not support many new database functions, including MEDIAN, PERCENTILE_CONT, PERCENTILE_DISC etc. as per Amazon RedShift 2014 release notes.

a. PERCENTILE_CONT
b. PERCENTILE_DISC
c. REGEXP_COUNT
d. REGEXP_SUBSTR
e. REGEXP_INSTR

In particular, using Cognos Report with Aggregate functions e.g. 'Median', the calculations processed 'Locally' instead directly on the Database.

Concerns with 'Local' processing, impacts poor report execution performance especially with large data sets.

Current release of Amazon RedShift is capable of executing many of the functions in the release notes directly in the Database, however Cognos has not been enhanced to pass the functions as SQL to the 'Database', instead are processed 'Locally'.

Verify the Native SQL for the Query, no reference the 'Median' functions sent to the Database, instead calculations for Median aggregation performed locally.
