Prompt API: getValues() returns undefined if the previously input value was considered invalid

Using Prompt API it is not possible to retrieve a prompt value via getValues() if that prompt is considered invalid. The result is returned undefined which typically stops the entire javascript validation process thus leaving the entire prompt page unchecked.

For example a text box where a user puts in 2013 (and let's say that fails validation and puts an underline) if the user goes to another field any getValues() to that original field will return an empty array even though 2013 is in the textbox. Using getValues[0] returns undefined and thus getValues()[0].use is an error
