IBM Cognos Analytics 11 - Dashboards - Summary Visualization Conditional Palette

I'm currently working in a project using IBM COGNOS ANALYTICS DASHBOARDS and evaluating the possibility to provide to the client the type of analysis and visualizations required.

I noticed that IBM Cognos Analytics Dashboards does not support conditional palette in summary visualizations.

The request is simple and pretty straightforward: To provide a red value when the metric is bellow zero and green above. Example attached.

This limitation is particularly annoying as almost every dashboard needs this feature.

Already tried some workarounds but nothing seem's to be a good solution:

1. To add a symbol/image such as a red or green circle that would show up next to the value upon a rule. This isn't possible as we don't have conditional blocks on the dashboards module. Only on report studio;

2. To use JavaScript in order to do it. Not supported for dashboards;

3. To use a crosstab or grid visualization. This one would need some "tailoring and sewing" as we would have to use one visualization of this type and then hide the stuff we don't want to show up with images using the same color of the background. In addition to not being the most elegant solution, it's the background of the value that is fulfilled and not the value, plus, we also have the impossibility of resizing the font size (only the visualization as a whole is sizable).

Therefore, this one doesn't work as a proper solution as well.

Does IBM have any kind of workaround for this?

Is this feature on the road map? When will it be released? Adding it as an enhancement request?
