Reset prompts and run option should clear the prior selected prompts or do not use the word 'Reset'.

Currently, the 'Reset prompts and run' option only takes you back to the prompt page.  It does not clear the prior selected prompt choices. The word 'Reset' is misleading.  User believe it should clear the prior selected prompts. Make this option clear the selected prompts or it should be re-worded.

    One of our customer expects the “Reset prompt and run” option to clear all preselects for current report.


    They do not want to navigate to each parameter in the report and use “Deselect All” to clear. Because they are creating custom reports with multiple (15+) prompt boxes (see attached screenshots) and burden is too great to revise each prompt box each time.


    We have reviewed this is the behavior in current production environment, but due to more complex reporting requirements and increased passed parameters, they are now considering this a defect.

    The "Reset Prompts and run" does not actually reset the previously entered prompt values. This is causing confusion to users using the report as they expect to all values reset in the prompt page when this option is used.

    I recommend to remove the word "Reset" and simply says "Return to Prompt Page". The inclusion of a "Reset" button in the prompt page will help.
