Two Factor Authentication support with Cognos Analytics 11.x & 11.0.x

Currently there is no 2FA provided for the On Prem Cognos Analytics. Recently they have added 2FA for the cloud  but Cognos does not explicitly support it. It would be beneficial if Cognos adds 2FA support with third party tools, LDAP or the cloud.

 In recent times security has always been a concern, an adding an additional option for the security is always an addon. During GoLive the security team/IT team asks for the 2FA(as part of policy) when the it is access outside the Prem. (SSL + 2FA)

    Without MFA, the cloud cognos product is highly susceptible to a security breach. Given the current global cyber security risk and that all the sensitive company data being stored on OpenPages can be accessed through cognos, the absence of MFA is not consistent with current security norms. This backdoor to all the OpenPages data also removes any benefit to having MFA in place for users accessing the openpages application. Alternative measures, such as restricting access to a specific IP are not available to our company, as the users can be in any number of countries or on third party networks, so there appears to be no work around for this issue.
