Hover Text on Dashboard

Dashboard needs to be clean and have short titles due to real estate being valuable on the page. If the hover text function could have a full title and definition of terms for specific visualizations / metrics then we can keep the clean look and feel of a dashboard and not muddy up the view with definitions box

    I've added a vis on vis tooltip to the premium version of CogBox. Drag in the viz tooltip widget and specify the "tooltip" vis you want. When you hover over any elements on other widgets, the tooltip vis will filter based on the elements you hover over.

    A good idea. I have a situation where my code descriptions are too long to put on the dashboard, so t would be great to have the ability to display a code (or short description) on the dashboard and have the ability to add the full description in the hover text.

    Along these lines, display of the funnel / filter should be optional, ideally only display if the user hovers over the visualization.  This would be particularly useful on the summary visualization.  When a page has a number of summary items you see a bunch of funnels that look out of place.
    Also the ability to edit the data item labels like you can in RS.  We have long data item names for clarity but often the business and the dashboard need shorter names.  Clarity is in the context of the dashboard, or hover over to get more details.  Would also like to see the screen tips from FM model appear on the dashboard.
