Creating custom URLs to display and run Cognos Analytics content

In Cognos 10.2 its possible to build custom URLs to display and run Cognos content.  This has enabled us to build dashboards where pre-run burst report outputs are viewable at a click of a button/link via a webpage.  The webpage has links which are custom URLs to target the report output, including the burst keys as parameters.   The reports are run overnight to save on resources and also ensure the dashboard is quick.  I raised a call (TS002692413) as the URLs don't work the same way in Cognos Analytics and I've been informed its not possible to target burst report output from the content store anymore using a URL. 

 

With our integrated reporting solution using custom URLs heavily the impact of this could mean our clients won't upgrade from Cognos 10 to Cognos 11 and therefore miss out on all the new features this platform provides.

 

I can see from the following URL below that more custom URL features have been included in later releases of Cognos 11.  However the burst key option hasn't made it into development yet.  Would this be possible as I believe being able to target pre-run burst outputs following an overnight schedule is an extremely powerful and useful feature in Cognos 10 and is surprising it hasn't made its way into Cognos 11.
