When report is clicked to run, Cognos version 11.0.x shows a blank page before report result shows up. Request the same behaviour like Cognos v10.2.2.

When report is clicked, Cognos version 11.0.x shows a blank page before report result shows up. Request the same behaviour like Cognos v10.2.2. 

In real client environment, for complex reports, it takes more than 8 seconds for this blank page, end user does not know if the reports are hang or running.

On Cognos v10.2.2, once the report is clicked, a running cycle will show up immediately. This behaviour change on Cognos v11 causes confusion for end users.

    I agree the blank page is confusing. We should focus on improving performance. This issue is on our roadmap to be looked at.

    It is confusing to see a blank page instead of showing it is collecting the data to create the report. User might think the reporting is hanging or defect. Not user-friendly and in my opinion not an Enhancement but defect.
