Missing option to set interactive connections between visualizations in reporting

We would like to create our dashboards in reporting but to simulate what dashboard can do we need an option to set up interactive connections between visualization enabling gestures like filtering data inone vis based on selecting in another one which is accesible in dashboarding. 

We can not use dashbording directly as it is missing lot of functionality from reporting and performance tunning, query optimization and so for managed dashboards (visually appealing presentation of data) we see better option to build it via reporting to achive the requirments.

    This is on our roadmap. Due to the complexity of report authoring, we may not be able to complete this in short term.
