Cognos for Microsoft Office capability to import nested contents from Cognos dashboard reports to Excel - TS000938522

On Cognos Analytics for MSO add-in v11, layouts and formats of Imported Contents from Cognos list cross-tab reports or dashboards with nested contents, are changing in any Microsoft document.

Formatted cells change fonts, Merged cells in Cognos are disfigured with adjacent cells pushing the columns out of report area, report dashboard layouts change and have to reformatted, images are overlapped and scattered.

Even using the option to Refresh Data only, produces these results and users are frustrated having to reformat every object repeatedly.

Note:
Executing the report from the Cognos interface to Run as Excel or to "export" HTML results to Excel format does not produce this type of degradation in report quality.
